It’s best suited for high-demand markets, aggressive growth strategies, or when you need to fill vacancies quickly.

What is Search Dominance? Search Dominance is a new model in Adverank designed for users who want to maximize their presence in local search results through Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns. This strategy ensures that your ads appear as often as possible by reducing the percentage of searches lost due to budget limitations.

The model follows a simple formula:

  • If the current search lost percentage is lower than the target percentage set by the budget strategy, Adverank will calculate a budget increase.

  • The goal is to adjust the budget to meet the target search demand percentage.

Budget Strategy Options Search Dominance uses different budget strategies to determine the target percentage of search lost and how that percentage is measured.

  • Conservative (Default)

    • Target search lost: 5%

    • Calculation: Based on the lowest search lost percentage in the past 7 days

    • Example: If search lost percentages were 10% from Sunday to Friday but dropped to 5% on Saturday, the budget remains unchanged.

  • Moderate

    • Target search lost: 0%

    • Calculation: Based on the lowest search lost percentage in the past 7 days

    • Example: If search lost percentages were 5% from Sunday to Friday but dropped to 0% on Saturday, the budget remains unchanged.

  • Aggressive

    • Target search lost: 0%

    • Calculation: Based on the average search lost percentage over the last 7 days

    • Example: If the average search lost percentage is above 0%, Adverank will recommend a budget increase to meet the target.

Budget Suggestions Budget recommendations are calculated based on:

  • Current search lost percentage

  • Current impression share

  • Current budget

Adverank will suggest an increased budget to help reach the target search lost percentage. However, budget increases will be capped based on the selected budget strategy to ensure controlled spending:

  • Conservative: 10% max budget increase per suggestion

  • Moderate: 15% max budget increase per suggestion

  • Aggressive: 25% max budget increase per suggestion

Users who select Conservative may reach their target over time through smaller, incremental increases, while Aggressive users will see faster budget adjustments.

By choosing the right budget strategy, businesses can ensure their PPC campaigns align with their goals for search visibility and cost control.
