How to Duplicate A Block

Want to copy and paste a block from one page to another? Or on the same page? Watch this video to learn how.

Welcome to this tutorial on how to duplicate a block and the different uses for doing so. If I scroll down, you will see that I have a few different blocks containing images, one on the left, one with the main image on the right. Let's say I wanted to duplicate this block with the image on the left. I would simply copy that by clicking this icon over to the left.

And now the page refreshes and at the top of the page, I have the ability to click paste. And if I click on that, that tab will go away. And now if I scroll to the very bottom, that page is there. I don't want it at the bottom. So I'm going to click on the up arrow one time. That will refresh the page again.

And when I scroll back down, now you can see that that block has been duplicated before the final ending block. And if for any reason I decide that I didn't want to duplicate that block, I would simply click the trash icon. The page will refresh again, and now if I go back down, you will see that that third block, third image block is now gone. And it's just the two.

Another reason that you might want to use the duplicate block function is to bring one block from one page to another. So here I have a second tab open which is the main page, the home page for this website. If I scroll down, you'll see this review block.

Now if I wanted to also put this review block on the previous page, I could copy it. Go and open the previous tab. Now if you notice the paste function is not there, but if I simply refresh this page, now I have the paste tab available, and if I click on that, the page will once again refresh.

I scroll to the bottom and there is the review function or the review block. I can go ahead and move it up one. And there it is. Thank you for checking out this video on how to duplicate a block. Be sure to watch some of our other helpful tutorials.
